We are hiring a Client Service Director, Operations to lead client operations across our GTA/Dufferin Nursing Clinics and Halifax/Mississauga/Halton/Dufferin Personal Support Services.
Reporting to the Vice President of Client Services, the Client Service Director, Operations will provide key leadership, guidance, and planning for developing their assigned geographic area, represent Closing the Gap to our external stakeholder partners, and mentor local Client Service Managers and Supervisors.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the GTA. It supports our GTA/Mississauga and Nova Scotia locations in a hybrid environment of home, branch clinics, and in-office.

What you’ll be doing:
Operational Leadership
- Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to home and community care programs in assigned geographic areas. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless experience of our integrated healthcare services for our clients, their families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
- Build, lead, and coach a team of high-performing Client Service Managers and Supervisors to develop a muti-professional workforce model with agility to work across the integrated healthcare system
- Build and maintain relationships with primary care networks, leaders across various Health Authorities in different provinces, and other key local stakeholders to advance CTG’s service models and approaches
- Engagement of clients, families, and providers in program development and co-design
- Create and implement business and growth strategies by analyzing and understanding market data and working to bring it from an idea on a page to an executable plan for change and improvements.
- Develop actionable plans to meet budgetary responsibility and fiscal management for the assigned portfolio
- Collaborate with other members of the Senior Governance Team to support the delivery of CTG’s corporate goals, analyze local data, and establish plans for continuous improvements to the quality of service for our clients.
- Report on program performance and report KPIs to a broad audience of partners
Skills needed for success:
- Minimum of 5 years in progressive leadership positions in healthcare or home and community environments
- Minimum of 3 years of operational experience, managing expenses in relation to revenue; analyzing the ongoing financial status of the Branch to ensure that established financial goals are being achieved; completing monthly and annual financial reports as requested.
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Business or a health-related discipline is an asset.
- Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or College of Nurses of Nova Scotia is in good standing, is nice to have
- Strong knowledge of business and clinical operations principles, practices, and methods, service delivery, financial management and control, program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams
- Experience in operational planning, development, and evaluation with the ability to identify long-term strategies and goals.
- Excellent networking, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work at all levels of organizations, internally and externally, exercising a good level of diplomacy
